A Walk Down The Memory Lane

"Life comes in full circle"
I think i am strong believer of this phrase. Just the other day while i was walking towards the learning center in the campus of XLRI to attend my lectures , i sensed a weird emotion transpire through my mind. Little contemplation and i realized it was nothing but - dejavu. The campus here at XLRI reminds me of my boarding school at Varanasi (Rajghat Besent School). The similarities are starking , same lush green roads , building and prof's quarters hidden behind thick bushes of trees, chirping noise of birds from some distant place broken by the occasional barking of street dogs, a very laid back but cozy outlook. However i guess the similarity end here , while this place is oozing with energy and enthusiasm surrounded by a bunch of young & smart people , highly focused to achieve what they have dreamt for , my school had a very laid back approach towards the education system. It believed in greater good of society and had its value systems built around creating human beings for the whole society. May be imparting good education was the central theme of this process , i guess we conveniently twisted it to our interpretations.
Whatever said and done , i loved every day i spent in RBS and i am sure i am going to enjoy and equally cherish these days at XLRI when they are a part of an old chapter in my history book.
As of now , this is my present , and i am enjoying every bit of it.
